Lovely ambience it’s a typical French bistro, lots of regional options on the menu. We had 3 course each and all were exceptional. The portions are generous to say the least if we return we will share a starter in future. Staff were lovely though had very little English which for me was even more of a plus. It’s slightly out of town but a short walk from the main square and fir me it’s one nit to miss. It was relatively quiet the Saturday we went but I took the advice of others made a reservation in the afternoon via the link on their website. Do visit
Small restaurant bar with a warm atmosphere. The boss is very friendly and likes to joke. Most dishes are made at home (it specifies the list). I came here two nights and I ate very well. The music is of good quality too. The veal kidneys (photos) are excellent. And what about welsch (I forgot to photograph it) which is excellent and warm. On main road between Tourcoing Roubaix 200m from Carliers metro station. Serves excellent local style dishes. Gets busy and finishes serving early so book an early time. Clientele mainly locals which is always a good sign. Their English is not good but that was not a problem! Prices reasonable with a good ambience.
A little disappointed by the quality of dishes, meats and sauces in particular. The terminal's broken down. It happens. But the minimum is to apologize. The only comment we received was “there is a distributor right across the street.”
