On recommendation from a friend four of us visited this long established pizza restaurant for dinner mid week. Parking not that easy but not too far to walk. Booked in easily but the place got busy so it’s worth ringing prior. From the outset the...service was not quite right. The ladies who welcomed us couldn’t even raise a smile. We ordered wine and beer. Came out and they forgot one beer. The second round of drinks they bought one beer straight from the box. Basically hot beer. They were surprised when we asked for a cold beer but they did change it. The food was great albeit they got the meals mixed up on delivery. Pizza was awesome and the home made lasagna was delicious. I have never been disappointed with the pizza and pasta at this restaurant! Even when I customize my toppings, they always turn out great. The pasta is consistently cooked to perfection and the service is always fantastic. The young female waitresses were friendly, welcoming, and had great communication skills. One of them even took the time to chat with us at our table and went above and beyond by warming up my baby's bottle for us. Overall, we were very satisfied with our experience, although the furniture and chairs could use an upgrade as they were a bit wobbly.
The Wood Fire pizza evolution has been going strong the last few years...but let's go back years and years ago when the Forkwit was a little Forkwit...there were no woodfire pizza places...just old school, nothing fancy, decent pizza places run by a Giuessepe, Mario or Vincenzo.....La Botte takes me back....old traditional pizza to die for. This place is an institution in the area and has been going strong for years......you want a decent pizza...the Forkwit says....get your Butt to the Botte!
I have been coming to this restaurant for as long as I can remember. I stopped by for a quick bite and I'm glad I did. The food and service are both traditional and excellent, with the wife handling the cooking and the husband making the pizza. When you're craving a home-cooked meal and your mum isn't available, La Botte is the place to go.

It been around for years and has reinvented its self except fo the decor which remains in a down town Naples era. Pizzas are not wood fire but hits the spot nevertheless Med base with extra fresh toppings. Staff friendly. Place always seems full. Good value and worth a try if your in the northern subs.
We frequently visit this restaurant. It has been around since I was a little girl and remains just as good. It is our favourite traditional pizza by far. Very casual, great for children and very reasonably priced. Do book on a weekend as it is...usually very busy. Yummy food!
Great old school pizza shop, that makes me remember when i was a kid my old man would bring pizza home for dinner, don't let the decor put you off, its real italian style home cooking love it !!!!!!!!!!!
This charming Italian restaurant has a cozy, familial atmosphere. The prices are affordable, and most importantly, the pizzas and pastas are delicious and high quality.

for over 30 years after la botte. great eating, good value and friendly staff. a local family lover. if they want a great family-dinner experience, they give it a shot.
Great pizza and Home made apple pie. such a good gem in Pascoe Vale. Amazing service from the waitress Jenn. 5/5 would come again with my family or friends.
