We are a group of 9 people: The aperitifs are served in 3 waves while the last glasses are ready on the bar, we are still waiting and it will be like this for the whole meal. The dishes have nice names but out of 2 pieces of bull, one is much overcooked and the other is good, some dishes arrive too salty, one of us has a large brown hair on his plate and I, I I have 5 big bones in my appetizer. Décevant ! Nous avons diné le 7 septembre 2025 au restaurant La Canopée au Château de Pondres pour un anniversaire voulant profiter du décorum du batiment qu 'on nous annonçait comme sompteux. Malheureusement on nous a fait manger dehors comme dans toute les gargotes du coin (de plus avec des fumeurs) ' nous n 'avons pas été enthousiamés non plus par la cuisine. On nous a fait goûter les vins après que les plats soient sur la table, donc froids une fois les vins choisis et les saveurs des plats n 'étaient pas au rendez-vous : viande ferme avec une sauce sans saveur et avec un seul petit rectangle de pomme de terre et homard très rare dans l 'assiette. La carte n 'est pas à la hauteur du lieu...
Enchanting place with lots of qualities and unfortunately big flaws: 1 Not very easy to find. 2 Where to park the car when you are old and you walk with difficulty 3 Where is the entrance? There is a lack of a nice place before the meal to have an aperitif. Clearly, the desire to come back has its brakes! That said, thank you for celebrating my birthday. Rooms: Comfortable suite (n°3? Too bad the WC is not independent Walkability: see above Food drinks: dinner very good and in particular excellent foie gras.
Great dishes here! We stayed at the castle for a weekend. Arriving here late, we decided to dine in and we were really impressed with food! Interesting mix of fresh ingredients, creative and good service! We were there with our baby and the staff rolled the high table for us in the bathroom every time we had to change diapers for our baby. Wow, thank you! Highly recommended if you're around the area.

Generally adequate, but overall mediocre. Room was small and acoustics poor (could hear the next door bathroom far too well) Staff were helpful and pleasant. Breakfast was good, dinner was fine. WiFi was patchy and slow.

Beautiful chateau with pretty villages close by. The staff were lovely spoke English and very helpful. The rooms are beautiful. I had a lovely stay there and certainly recommend it.
Dîner excellent très bonne soirée et adresse, je recommande fortement. Rapport qualité prix top. Serveuses chaleureuses et souriantes.
