La Citadelle - Tisch resevieren

We were recommended this place from the guy whose lake we're fishing at nearby and boy was it a top tip. We all raved about our lunch and the locally produced beer and cola we had with it. Friendly staff and customers, prompt service and...delicious food. We had between us the duck leg, pork filet mignon and a huge Veggie salad, it wasn't cheap but well worth it, and a vast selection of other tasty sounding dishes. Perfect location outside looking up at the impressive Citadelle.

Only high praise for this restaurant which serves food very much in the French tradition. Relaxed yet elegant atmosphere, a well-chosen range of dishes on the chalk boards and effective service are the foundations on which La Citadelle has added wonderfully well-prepared food .. and...with generous portions as well. Clearly an establishment that is in gear and confident that it can live up to its high standards.

Initially we were a little put off because La Citadelle looked so small but we noticed that it was busy and full of local people which is usually a good sign. We found a small table on the street outside (perfect for our dog) and had a very good meal from the menu du jour. Service was good and friendly. A real find !

Fast impeccable service is good, very good and well presented carpaccio of salmon is top just lack a little green in accompaniment and a little too much meat to my taste in dishes, compared to fish or vegetarian dishes (I saw a little late that one could turn an entrance into a dish) I could have done that. on route from edgeaux to saumur we did not know where to stop to eat. a right the citadelle. surely we will go back to Spain.Incoming cheese salad.Expectacular meat sprinkler with delicious potatoes. Water, beer and coffee. 43 € the couple. The very cozy place and the staff very attentive and pleasant.

Second visit to this restaurant. good reception and good service. We ate very well, simple dishes but of quality and very tasteful!ul regret...I was told so much about your lost brioche that I wanted to taste it. but unavailable in my 2 arrivals! The third may be the good one!

This year must notch up at least years of dining here....Bruno..Mikael and Ghislain ....and still we return ! Thank you Ghis and Tif for a lovely evening celebrating our Wedding Anniversary. See you again soon x

This restaurant never fails to deliver. It's next to the citadel in Parthenay and offers lovely seating. They always have a very varied menu with many choices for starters, main course and dessert Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch

very pleasant setting (we were upstairs), reception and quality service, as well as the delicious meat! The accompaniment was also very well. I strongly recommend this establishment!

A very warm greeting followed by excellent food at a very reasonable price. Waiter very helpful. Will recommend and revisit.
