We have been to this restaurant numerous times over the last five years but probably at least six months since our last. The place was less than half full and we seated ourselves as indicated by the sign in the front. The ambiance is good as other times as I recall. One of the waiters came by promptly to see what we wanted to drink. She brought us some fresh chips and salsa which was good as always. However, I never recall the chips to be so flaky that they break when I tried to spoon salsa into it. They tasted good but the salsa was a little less spicy than I remember. I asked for an order of guacamole which took quite a bit of time to be served. However, it seemed to have been freshly made...
This restaurant is truly disappointing. The service is awful! If you don’t come in with a group of at least 8 to 12 people, you’ll barely get any attention. My wife was choking, and it took five minutes to get a glass of water. I had to get up twice just to ask for it! Then, it took another 20 minutes for them to bring my check. I really should have just walked out. Everyone should consider leaving because the staff is clearly overwhelmed and understaffed.
Just about every dish on the menu is fantastic. Authentic mexican cuisine at its best. Mario's margaritas are the best in the OC. Uodate 5/15/20 Mario opened for takeout. That made my week. So happy he opened again for takeout. Everyone needs to go support Ricardos and other local businesses that are trying to survive. Best margaritas in Orange County.
Fabulous food. We did door dash for the menudo and it was so good. That evening I went in for a quick margarita and chimichanga! SO GOOD! Mario was my server at the bar! He was quick, pleasant, and made a perfect strawberry margarita! Highly recommended Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
Outstanding home style food! Highly recommend! Owners are very friendly and always recognize thier customers. Delicious with a substantial menu! Loved their chorizo con huevos as well as the tamale Rosa!
Inconsistent in food... Sometimes it's really good... Other times could be less than expected.. same with service food has always tasted Good just very inconsistent on Service and Quantity..
Good family atmosphere... Good food, Good service, Good prices. The green enchiladas were very delicious... I recommend them
