Our daughter made a reservation for the three of us on a Monday night, which I strongly suggest as this is a very small restaurant that fills up quickly in the evening. I believe the offerings change often so I will not spend time describing our specific meal. The food was excellent along with the service and friendly atmosphere of this establishment. This was one evening meal I will remember fondly from our trip through southern France and Spain. Unassuming, intimate, friendly, and delightful: if these words match your idea of a good family meal or quiet dining experience then this should meet or exceed your expectations.
When we checked Trip Advisor we saw some good ratings for this restaurant so I went over to the restaurant at 5.30 pm to make a reservation. I met Patrick the owner who told me they did not open until 7.30 pm so he agreed to hold a table for me. We went back at 7.30 pm and it was simply phenomenal. Patrick served the entire restaurant himself so don't expect instant service and sit back and enjoy your wine!
I went one morning and the waitress was cold like soda ice cream. I paid, drunk in one line and went away with the firm intention not to put foot. Too bad! the bar is pleasant, the terrace is not bad even if you breathe the pollution of cars. by curiosity, I'll go back there one night to see if the musical atmosphere is good and if the service has caught up,

We called this restaurant in advance luckily to see what their vegetarians options were. They said they had no vegetarian options at all and offered no ideas. This was confusing as they are registered on tripadvisor as "vegetarian friendly", which needs to be changed.
This place might not look so good at first sight. But the food is really good and genuin. It was like a sundaydinner at your family's place where you get reminded of that really good stew your mother makes.Desserts very good as well! Worth a visit! :)
La Cocotte is a wonderful place serving scrumptious, seasonal, home-made food. We particularly recommend the foie gras, ravioles, duck Parmentier and salted caramel croustillant. And Harry the super cute French bulldog who loves your attention!!!
The meal in a crock was delicious. I went several times and was never disappointed. I love the warm crock dishes and had beef, lamb & chicken on different nights. It is a hidden gem that I found my way back to over and over!

Although fully booked they managed to fit me in. Enjoyable three-course meal of chestnut soup, lamb and lentils and tiramisu, with an acceptable house wine for less than €40.
