Ristorante La Concepcion is a boutique eatery in the Square in Segovia. Even though it was a cold, drizzly day the tables were mostly under cover with gas heaters everywhere for our comfort. The tables were bedecked in clean white table cloths whichI thought was very chic. The service was quick and accurate. The wait staff were everywhere keen to serve. My wife had the suckling pig and I had the Fillet Mignon. Both delicious and hot. Drinks were delicious. The only downside was the smokers at various tables. This practice must surely stop to bring Spain in line with the rest of the world. Tie the ambience of the square with the fine dining and this was near to Foody heaven.
Located right in Plaza Mayor....beautiful setting. I had the suckling pig, called Cochinillo Asado. I like pork but this was different for sure. The meal was okay. You have to eat this here in Segovia. The pork had a lot of bones, which I don't like, but it had meat and a crunchy skin. Like I said, it was different. Wifey had fish...lol Local beer and wine was fine. Bread always costs extra, but it's worth it...and here they give you a basket of bread. Service was excellent.
Dispone de variedad de menús según el gusto de cada uno. Personalmente me decidí por un menú que incluía judiones y cochinillo y muy bien. La verdad es que todos comimos estupendamente. Situado en la Plaza Mayor dispone de terraza en la misma plaza.
Bueno no, lo siguiente!!!! Una cocina de calidad y profesionales de la hostelería Segoviana. Y justo al lado las mejores copas en el Negresco con Juan...

Como restaurante no lo sé, pero para desayunar horroroso , además la simpatía de la camarera brillaba por su AUSENCIA
