We popped in here for lunch after a visit to the Chateau at Castelnaud. We were warmly welcomed and shown to our table in the courtyard, the waitress was very patient with all our questions about the menu. My husband and I had the bruschetta...which was beautifully cooked and very flavoursome. One of our children had nuggets and chips, the other a burger...again both excellent quality, tasty and very generous portions. The children had ice cream to finish, the waitress brought them up to the fridge so they could choose which. We found the price very reasonable, the staff excellent and the food top quality. We would, without hesitation return to this restaurant.
What a lovely find food was just as it says on the tin a large group of us ate lunch on one visit and dinner on another we found it all well above the norm for this type of dining all food came hot tasty...and well served and the staff very friendly nothing was too much trouble also great for kids and not expensive well done worth every penny or sorry cent
I was too late. What a great meal! We polished the duck and net so fast - the duck is a must. We also had a spaghetti in cream sauce with goat cheese- loved it. Our waiter looked very well...to, very helpful with the menu and went out his way to keep the children occupied.
Three of us enjoyed this little restaurant. The food was excellent and I am, as a vegetarian, hard to please! The service was excellent with the waiter knowing 4 or 5 languages. Not only knowledgeable but warm and friendly
