I usually don't take time to write reviews, but today's family dinner with my husband and my 2 boys (6 and 8y) was so amazing that I had to share. For a little treat in an amazing environment, this place ticks all boxes. Basically... everything was there: location, service, menu and pricing. We took the 4-course set menu of €64, which was a bargain given the quality of the food. The 3-course children's menu of €16 was also very good (especially compared to an overpriced Italian restaurant in Annecy-Le-Vieux, which has charged us £17 for a double children's plate Spaghetti bolognaise). beautiful restaurant where the view is splendid on the chain of the manigod mountains The reception is very pleasant, the staff is listening to it is perfect. The aperitif takes place outside to enjoy the sunset on the mountains, it’s splendid! all with a small piece of tourte in the reblochon, it was very good since the meal takes place inside in a very nice little chalet! the meal is excellent from beginning to end, with colors, odors (the truffle) and unforgettable flavors! what a good time in this restaurant or the staff is at little care. 65EU for a selection of 3 nets and 3 starters plus cheese and deserts. There are supplements for one of the appetizers and one of the most important courses. There are also a la carte options, but these are quite the same as the set...menu. The menu was unchanged all week. The food was nice, but not excellent, for example, the steak that cost extra was hard and not very delicious. The wines were not exactly described in the list, for example false years. The ambience is great. At this price, we would have expected the food to be better. Maybe we were pampered by some excellent British gastro pigs!
I have stayed both in the hotel rooms in the winter and in the chalets they own in the summer. Wanting to sum up in one word, wonderful . Excellent services, extreme cordiality and a position with an enchanting view over the valley. Restaurant service a little expensive for my pockets but of more than excellent quality and with an objectively correct price. We have known this establishment for ten years, we LOVE this establishment. The great kindness of the staff, the incredible view from the jacuzzi on the terrace, in the sun and in the fir trees, the gourmet table with old-fashioned desserts, the Savoyard pottery, the old wood, we love everything!
