La Demeure des Roses

Ignore earlier rude reviews, this is a pleasant place to visit, situated right on the river and a,shady nook to have a relaxing tea or something stronger, sandwiches available after mid June but fine if you want to enjoy the garden and browse the shop full of interesting things. Both owners were friendly and obviously take great pride in their project.

Shadowed by the chateau, this village is very romantic and has a few great restaurants. They were sold out of most items but we had a delicious savoury muffin and salad, drinks and sensational desserts. Excellent service and amazing views and atmosphere. Highly recommended.

This is a lovely place to stop for a drink and their patisserie,s are really good as are their ice creams.It is so peaceful next to the river and the owners are delightful. The shop is a bonus and full of lovely things.A delightful place to while away some time.

We only stopped briefly for a cool soft drink on a roasting hot day. A very pleasant situation by the river with friendly waiter service. The shop there is lovely as well with some beautiful paintings and household items. Worth a look
