Having eaten Dent Creuse meals a week during, I think I have some experience of the place. Located in the bucolic setting of the commune of Vézelay, Burgundy, good traditional French dishes could have been expected. But no, the truth is unfortunately very different. I would like to point out that we were a group with a preferential rate (10 euros per person) so it is legitimate not to expect all the pleasures displayed on the normal menu at 19 euros. Ice house yesterday noon. Restaurant without a soul. No music. 30 minutes waiting for 2 dishes while the room was far from full. Chablisian pasta was good, but the portion was reduced to the strict minimum, without cheese (finally if, 1/2 ramequin brought after). During the settlement, no questions about the meal, we are tended to the CB machine and barely goodbye. Getting away for 45€ to two without being filled, it's a comble. Tourist catch to avoid
On ne m apporté pas la pizza que g commande et pour ne pas accabler le serveur je lui dit que c peut être moi qui me suis mal exprimé. On me refait ma pizza mais au moment de payer je me rend compte que l on me facture une pizza à 14€50 alors que celle que g mange était à 10€50. La moindre des choses aurait été de me le signaler au lieu de faire ca dans mon dos. Je ne suis pas a 4 ou 5 € mais mais j aime l honnêteté et la on en est loin
The staff is very racist, horrible welcome, the waiter insulted us and told us to leave, because we waited 25 minutes to drink 4 drinks and we asked ... knowing they served people who arrived after us. I've never lived a welcome like this in my life, it's really very serious in 2021 and especially on a very tourist site, I could have filed a complaint but we had to go back to bets. I strongly advise and I swear it's a real opinion
Nous avons mangé avec mon mari un dimanche midi. Les plats étaient bons et copieux. Je trouve le cadre magnifique, on a mangé sur la terrasse. Reste que le prix est un peu excessif et que nous avons eu de la chance d'arriver tôt, ça nous a permis d'être servi rapidement ce qui n'a pas était le cas pour les autres clients.
Experience we won't renew. Unpleasant reception, long waiting. Server that receives no change in the very simple menu: remove fries from a plate. Very expensive salad for quantity, pizza for her very good. We were very cold during the whole meal.
A very good restaurant that welcomed us in group (28 people . Very good reception during the reservation and very affordable group menu (aperitif, wine, dish entrance dessert and coffee for 25€ with excellent regional specialties. Perfect!
Potato dish served with lots of sauce to hide the very small ham served in the dish. Value for very bad money
