Stayed here upon several great recommendations and was not disappointed. After travelling around Colombia for the past few months with my boyfriend, we were desperate for a decent curry after facing several let downs in other cities. Tried the vindaloo, madras and jalfrezi - all were absolutely delicious! I could even say that they were on a par with curries back home. It was also wonderful that Jesus knew what we meant by 'really spicy'. As we struggled finding any chillis/chilli powder/chilli flakes he gave us a bag of his homegrown/home-dried chillis to take with us.All in all, great value at 20,000 for curry, rice and naan. Passing through Salento's surroundings with my wife, we decided to eat somthing in a ggod place and we found La Eliana. Nice food, excellent service, and well located. Despite we did not stay in any of thair rooms, we could notice a very well preserved building with a proper Salento¡s style, so that it is a really nice place to spend the night there, Recommended...
Decided to go for the Tikka Masala here which overall was tasty but unlike any Tikka Masala I've had in the past (just tasted like a generic curry sauce) The staff however were absolutely great, super friendly and accommodating! If I went back, I think I'd go for one of their delicious looking pizzas! Overall, I enjoyed La Eliana and would love to come back soon.
First of all the owner is an amazing guy.Second thing- chicken tika masala and the veggitaren curry was awesome! Porticens are huge and very tasty with a variety of the curry, delicious rice and best bread I've eaten in South America. Our friend also ordered the Bolognese spaghetti that was huge and very good! I visited La Eliana in 2015 and had an awesome curry. Yesterday I went with two friends and we were not disappointed. We just loved both the curried chicken and the vegetarian curry as well as the coco lemonade. The staff is awesome and the interior really nice with a pleasant odour of spices. I will definitely return.
We had a vegetarian curry here and to my surprise they were able to make it as spicy as in Asia (you can choose between soft, medium and pikante). The pikante curry was great! The views are nice and the staff very friendly. I recommend this restaurant!
We have a wonderful meal here. Came for dinner and sat our on the terrace. It was a nice atmosphere and we had a very tasty curry meal. If you like curry, I recommend taking a shot at this place - you won't be disappointed.
