This time, I would rate the service less than one star—not because of the waitstaff, but due to the disrespectful behavior of the owner. My wife and I ordered coffee while we waited for our table. A very kind waiter served us the coffee, but it was very hot. The waiter noticed this and offered us some cold milk, but at that moment, the owner rudely remarked that if the coffee was hot, we should have blown on it, commenting that we were wasting the glass and the additional milk provided. The food is very good, and the service is excellent. The atmosphere is quite nice, although it's a bit small. It's not cheap; for example, a lunch with a soup will cost around $35, including tip.
The food was cold, and the soup lacked any flavor. I feel like I wasted $19. The chicken stew I ordered had a bone in it, and the lunch served to me resembled a leftover doggie bag.
I am living in NJ for the last 2 years. Of course I miss my Ecuadorian food and this place has the best one!I have invited my American and Korean friends and they love it!

The restaurant's ambiance leaves much to be desired, but the Bolon Mixto and encebollado are definitely the highlights and worth trying.
