The evening started out badly when I was given a table in the corner of the back room, despite a nice table being available in the front. It appeared that the staff was not impressed with my disappointment of the table as the evening went...down hill from that point on. Had to wait a long time for the menu and an even longer time for the food. Had to wait about 45 mins for the main dish. If you have the entire evening to wait then you will be fine. Started out with Beef Tartare, which was extremely spicy to the point that you could not taste the other flavors. No bread was severed with the dish. When I asked for bread I was told that the beef was served on a biscuit which was supposed serve...
Walked in on a Sunday morning around 10:30am and it was already busy and had some tables reserved. We did not have a reservation but they were able to squeeze us in for an hour time slot if we ordered right away. The food took...a little longer than expected but we were able to finish within the hour. The food was creative and delicious. I had the pancakes which were fluffy but a little dry even with the sauce and perfectly runny egg. They probably just needed syrup. The bacon was really just a chunk of ham (I should have expected this being in Canada) but it was flavorful and added the much needed salty bite. The duck fat fries, tartare, pulled pork, desserts were good as well. Did not try...
I was unsure about trying this place, but I'm glad I did. They have a nice terrace on St Denis. Service was excellent from beginning to end. We arrived in time for the 5-7 pricing for an hors-d'oeuvres plate and oysters, which went really well...with a sparkling Cremant de Bourgogne. We then had a beef tartare and an extraordinary creamy risotto with several veges, nuts and scallops. Everything was made from the highest quality fresh ingredients, and the many flavors blended beautifully. Dessert was also quite creative and went well with a nice glass of Sauterne. We will definitely return.

Our group of 11 had a fantastic evening at La Fabrique. The service was great, the drinks were delicious, and the food left everyone impressed. Each dish was so good that we all encouraged each other to try everything. The menu had something for everyone,...was able to accommodate allergies and 2 vegetarians in our group. We ended up staying close to 4 hours and had nothing but a great time. We laughed, ate and drank well, an dhad no pressure from the staff. Will definitely be dining there again
Amazing meal in a beautiful restaurant! Could not have been happier with every aspect of our dinner. The decor was lovely, service was impeccable and the food was just incredible. We had a charcuterie platter, foie gross for starters. Both were delicious. The lobster with...risotto and asparagus special was presented and cooked perfectly. The venison dish was wonderful as was the halibut. You cannot go wrong with a dinner at Bistrot La Fabrique
Noticed this restaurant while walking on Rue St-Denis and decided to try their brunch. The brunch menu was fabulous, with many interesting twists on traditional brunch dishes. Service was excellent, prices reasonable, and the space was comfortable and relaxing. Would love to go back for...dinner!
Went for brunch. Very warm and friendly welcome, attentive service, casual atmosphere and an original menu. Very tasty dishes, well seasoned, beautifully presented and good portions. Will definitely be back!
Great family dinner in LA FABRIQUE. Food was excellent and service was perfect : lovely Marine took very good care of us the whole evening.
