Went on a Saturday evening with local friends. They had never been either. Chose the €18 menu and we're all disappointed. The entrée was OK - Déclinaison des tomates - basically a crustless type of quiche/pie with goat cheese. We all opted for the mystery beef. 2 à point & 2 saignant One was à point one medium rare and 2 verging on blue. The hostess graciously offered to cook a bit more but they didn't get to medium rare. And the meat was on the verge of inedible - tough with lots of nerve strands. Desert we chose was a crème brûlée - an interesting fusion of banana & lime. Located across from the Toulouse Lautrec Museum, this restaurant was not only convenient but had excellent food. I ordered the 15 euro special starting with a spinach and bean sprout salad served with vegetable soup followed by hake served with pureed carrots and for dessert a pear poached in red wine. My husband ordered the 18 euro lunch of a Greek salad,duck, and profiteroles for dessert. The food was fresh, well prepared and beautifully presented. The house wine was very good as well.
I was recommended this restaurant by a local and I am very happy that I listened. The foix gras was my first time having it and was worth the hype, and the steak was cooked perfect. Everything else was equally savory and delicious and the recommended wine also paired very well
I went for the first time today and it was exactly what I was looking for... fresh and local food. Also I am gluten and lactose intolerant and it was easy for ordering as they were very understanding with me! Definitely a very human and regional restaurant.

We were welcomed by sacha, excellent waiter, good food, thanks to the cooks. only flat: the gift boxes (our case) are placed upstairs while the lower room had free tables. with heat and without air conditioning! We've been far beyond the boxing price.

We asked a number of local people for a recommendation and this restaurant came out on top. And we weren't disappointed. Run by a young couple. The husband is the chef. They pride themselves on use of local produce fresh from the market.
Small place opposite the Cathedral and Palais Berbie. Family run. Food was nice and they were accommodating when I told them I am allergic to dairy. They are open on Sunday and Monday when most restaurants are shut.
