On Thomas' recommendation, we visited the Gigas. Simple installation just north of the great beach of 'Aytre overlooking the sea. Basically there are only shrimps, oysters and mussels. The quality is exceptional and everything is very tasty. We continued to order until we were completely satisfied (only dessert a little disappointed children). It was a great night. Petit restaurant d'ostréiculteur, convivial, en terrasse extérieur et avec vue sur la baie d'Aytré (prévoir une petite laine en soirée). Huîtres, crevettes, moules et frites à des prix très abordables (moules/frites à 10€). Seul bémol sur les frites trop dures.
Vous ne trouverez pas mieux en tant que moules. Les moules sont exquis les huîtres bonnes les crevettes aussi. Ce qui est bien est que ces crustacés sont pêcher non loin de la côte : une fraîcheur incroyable ! À goûter d'urgence!!!
