The owners are gracious and welcoming. Service is prompt and friendly and the food is much better than one would expect at a remote location. The food presentation is quite pleasing. I would have preferred a little more spice and flavor, particularly for the röstis and vegetables. One can choose to eat in the restaurant, café, or the patio. The bathrooms are clean. A popular venue with hikers (we hiked from Ste-Croix) and touring folks. Mobile reception is poor to non-existent. Bring cash as credit cards are not accepted. Vegetarian options: Vegetarian options are varied and quite satisfying.
