On a walking holiday in Switzerland we decided to give the restaurant a try as it was directly across the road from our hotel and we both love rosti.We shared the casserole of mushrooms to start, they were served on a fondue stand to keep them warm and were delicious. The cream sauce was not too rich, but really flavoursome and seasoned perfectly. Plenty for two people. The rosti were both terrific. The light rosti had loads of spinach, and was perfect for a vegetarian. The other we chose was called a vegetarian with aubergine, courgette, but I opted to remove the cheese and I added spinach, none of which was a problem. Sehr gut geführtes Café, direkt gegenüber dem Hotel Golf und Spa im Zentrum der Stadt. Wir haben draußen auf der Terrasse gegessen, drinnen gibt es viel mehr Platz. Das Café wurde passend zu den Bergen, aber mit einigen modernen Wendungen, gut gestaltet. Das Essen, das wir hatten, war sehr gut, sie bieten leichte Mittagessen, Crêpes, Eis usw. Das Personal ist freundlich und effizient.
Familienurlaub in Villars. Wir haben 3 Mal zu Mittag bei la Gourmandine gegessen. Das Menü ist begrenzt, aber köstlich (Gebäck, Crêpes, Burger, Salat). Einladend, makellos sauber, aufmerksam auf Details bei den Tellern und der Dekoration. Unser Lieblingsort. Brunch/Frühstück ebenfalls verfügbar.
i like it the food its very very nice and yummy. good for family and with a lot choices of crepes i bet the children love it too. we enjoyed this restaurant every time we visited villas sur Ollons. nice service, good food! tried also the rosti and tartar other than crepes. very nice Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
The cafe has changed hands and now operates as a tea room. The quality of cakes, croissants etc is very good and prices are normal for Villars. Crêpes, quiches and other savouries are also on offer. Pleasant service and comfortable surroundings. Worth a visit!
In the center of the village, close to the train station, perfect brake after a ski day. Few seats outdoor when weather is nice. The owner and chef prepares excellent crèpes with home made chocolate, or with ham and cheese. Not to miss the Mille feuille!
Very chic atmosphere makes this cafe a must go to , in villars ! The fresh juices are delicious with their crepes stealing the show . Delectable eats , warm and courteous staff is to watch out for !

We stopped for a snack before heading up the gondola and enjoyed friendly service, really wonderful pancakes, and tea served in a real teapot.
