If you visit the bay of sum and you are away from the seaside restaurants, I recommend you book a table at the restaurant "the barn" to saint riquier. the chief's wife will welcome you with kindness and benevolence in a rustic and a little overanimated. The quality and flavour of the products have nothing rustic! It’s just succulent! We tested the sea plate (a combination of fish and sacred jacques) perfectly cooked and especially for dessert the floating island ... a party. if you like traditional cuisine, with taste, flavors, I can only recommend this restaurant! You won't be disappointed!
Déjeuner du 12/05/24, L’accueil est très bien, la serveuse pro et sympathique. L'attente est bien maîtrisée aussi. Pour la cuisine se suis un peu plus mi-figue et mi-raisin... Il faudrait préciser tous les compositions: par exemple, il n'est pas mentionné la présence de roquefort dans le croustillant de pied de porc... dommage si on n'aime pas le fromage. Les plats étaient bons mais pour moi trop assaisonnés : muscade dans la mousseline, sel dans la sauce, on s'y perdait un peu. Très bons desserts par contre. En conclusion: bon restaurant mais attention à l'assaisonnement.
Hello. the meal was from the entrance to the dessert a real treat. the crunchy at the feet of pork was a delight as well as the veal kidneys. The combination of meats with celery purée is perfect. the onion tatin with the camenbert sauce was also another treat for my husband. Our taste buds were delighted to find their tasteful sensations after almost two years without a real gourmet restaurant. Thank you very much to mme and mr. to have those traditions that tend to lose themselves in their establishment.
Inattentive at the hour, we entered the uncleared restaurant: it was only in spite of that, we were well received by the chef and the sommelier. The table is worth the detour: the thousandth of pig's feet? a delicious dish of land presented with an unspoiled elegance that delights the palate. the skewer mousseline with the shrimp? Here's the taste buds again. everything is delicious, made with products from our selected regions. The price is reasonable. Make a detour, you won't be disappointed!
