We found La Grignotiere while walking the streets of Les Eyzies, and chose it on a lark. How serendipitous! The food was wonderful and very reasonably priced. I am a big duck fan, and the Dordogne is duck central. On their 16 euro menu I started with the salad with duck gizzards and smoked duck breast. It was delightful! The confit de canard here is excellent, and I had it two nights in a row. The desserts were refreshing and very large. The waiters were great - very attentive and friendly. I can't recommend this place highly enough.
I visited La Grignotiere twice during my stay in Les Eyzies. The first time just for a drink. I noted that the food looked good, so then took the whole family our for lunch. The food was fantastic, and at very reasonable prices. The wine was fine too. Staff friendly and helpful. It doesn't look much from the street but there is a lovely outside area which was popular.
Hard to get worse. Frozen industrial gunk served in a glaringly bright aseptic dinning room with a massive tv on at all times apparently. The shallot sauce comes with one or two specks of shallots floating on top of a stock cube type gravy. This is not cooking - this is rip off land.
Want a burger and fries cooked your way? This place caters to children and Americans. They have a bar. They speak English. It is tasty. It is not fancy. It is a change from the steady diet of french cuisine. Reasonably priced. Friendly service.

The best grilled ham and cheese sandwich that we have ever had in our lives was served here. Ate here 3 times and had good food for reasonable prices.
Stopped off for a beer and ended up eating here. Friendly casual service but fantastic cuisine. Prices as modest as the atmosphere.
