I answer your comment following my opinion of this day that is not your taste. many opinions, after reading, join my remarks on the lack of cleanliness and the quality of the meal and service. if you don't have time to clean, because you have better things to do as you say and a lot of good will do to you. I also make the difference between 1 year of fingerprints on a glass door and 2 days of rain (it hasn't rained for 4 weeks). you put a lot of hardness to deny any criticism of the opinions that you don't agree. However, this should be useful to you, you are obviously someone who does not accept any criticism, who has answered everything and who doesn't even imagine having to ask questions....
A friend told us about this place and we stopped for lunch while cycling to Villeneuve de Avignon. It isn't well signposted and we really found it by accident, but after eating here we won't forget it. A warm welcome on a sunny day for...2 non-French speakers was followed by some food that was as beautiful as the setting and its view. We ordered from the menu and the grilled octopus entree, cuttlefish main and Fondant dessert I had were memorable. If I had to, I think I would swim across the Rhone to have another Fondant Chocolate here.
we were here for lunch during a visit to avignon, about 25 of us, mostly Italian. the deer and desert were very nice, but the main course left much to wish. a fist-big piece of raw meat with potato masque, I asked the...Wachsin what she claimed it was roast bone of lamb! it was infallible, I couldn't even cut it in. almost all diners left theirs. I can only hope that the Italians did not go home and think that all French cuisine is so bad.
this restaurant is adorable: from the beaten stretch directly on the rhone, the trip of avignon (if you don't have a car, consider the bike rental to drive over the bridge and make it a getaway). a wonderful environment! the food was very good, also: the menu is small, but the dishes are typical, fresh and well prepared. we loved it!

It looked like a nice place for a drink, but the service could be better. Despite only a few tables being occupied and lots of staff walking around, it took about an hour from ordering our drinks to being able to pay our bill. The...staff seemed uninterested in attending tables.
We had an excellent lunch, like always I should say. Excellent ceviche followed by a very well cooked fished altogether with a very friendly service and a superb place. If you are in Avignon’s area you should come there
this restaurant has an amazing ambiente with a stellar view of the city directly at the river. friendly staff with great eating. we ate here for lunch after cycling through the landscape and cannot recommend it enough.
