I had chaulafan and Arroz con pollo. Both of them weren 't that great, or maybe I was just expecting more since it was manabita and haven 't been in an Ecuadorian restaurant in the past 3 years since I moved from NY. Staff was very friendly and place was nice and clean. If I were to go again I would try something else.
I came from afar to try the food, not at all what the reviews say.The food took half an hour to be served, the lomo saltado I ordered was very salty, the chaulafan I don't know if I paid for the oil or the rice that was on the plate.EYE!! THEY CHARGE 20% FOR SERVICE, AND IT DOES NOT EQUAL THE ATTENTION THEY GAVE ME!
Terrible food, a pure water and onion ceviche, a very small snapper and the horrible salad, super bitter as old, and the waitress very clueless. And the 20% tip is already included in the bill. Had a wonderful experience with my family from North Carolina, they loved it as well. Food was just like my moms used to make. She is no longer with us. So it was a whole wonderful appreciation for their cooking! We had six separate dishes and each one was delicious ????
