Empiezo diciendo que teníamos reserva, y después de 55 minutos esperando el primer plato, nos hemos levantado y nos hemos ido. Si, nos pidieron la comanda, nos sirvieron el vino, el pan y el aperitivo eso que nos llevamos) y tras el tiempo de espera y ver qué de cocina apenas salian platos, y que ni una explicación, nos hemos levantado y nos hemos ido. Teníamos comida en la autocaravana, menos mal, pero no quiero pensar en alguien que no tenga nada que comer. El sentimiento general en el establecimiento era el mismo, la gente desesperada por comer. Señores dueños, si la cocina da para 50 comensales, no tengan un comedor con 100 personas, evidentemente la cocina no podía preparar el volumen e...
La contundente y sabrosa gastronomía del Valle del Baztán está muy bien representada en este encantador restaurante ubicado en el corazón del precioso pueblito de Urdax. Fiel a la cocina típica del valle, en otoño y en invierno la caza es protagonista, junto a los potajes, la carne vacuna y de cordero. La cercanía del mar hace que entre sus platos sean muy frecuentes los buenos pescados. En cuanto a los dulces, no te pierdas la ‘gaztanbera’ o cuajada, y la dulce ‘panchineta’, un postre a base de crema pastelera, almendras picadas y hojaldre.
