Restaurant La Maison D’estrounel in Saint Estephe, Bordeaux, exceeded my expectations. The food was outstanding, but what truly stood out was the exceptional service by Hugo, the manager. His expert wine knowledge, paired with his attentive yet unintrusive manner, elevated the experience. A must-visit for anyone looking for superb cuisine and a memorable evening.
Our Bages hotel recommended it. After our first dinner, we booked to return two nights later. Varied menu, excellent presentations, well-executed, very attentive staff, knowledgeable sommelier with an excellent list, especially of Medoc and Right Bank wines from older vintages. Go! You'll love it.
We went on a recommendation from the chateau we were staying at . Great restaurant feel and overall location, staff were ok, food was presented well but average and not you would expect from a fine dining restaurant , excellent wines. Overall did not live up to expectations

a wonderful place for a time out of time! the castle is decorated with a lot of taste, the service is excellent and the kitchen at the height of the place. Of course, you must appreciate it to taste the wines of the estate. We'll be back with pleasure!
The waiter was at the limit of being rude. He seemed to have very little interest in his job and wasn’t willing to answer our questions. The food was just Ok. The decoration was nice
