Very interesting visit. Thanks to a film, we discover the life of cows on the meadow and on the farm during the winter. There is a demonstration of the manufacture of the munster by a marcaire who has a lot of humor. Great collection of cheese boxes labels. Cheese tasting. Excellent. There is also a collection of trees in the region. Possibility of eating on site in the restaurant. The product shop is no more expensive than elsewhere. Very good reception.
Great visit, fun exhibition on cheese at the entrance of the museum, then small film on the Vosges followed by a very complete museum on both the cheese and the Vosges heritage. To conclude, presentation of the manufacture of the munster by a local cheesemaker, super pedagogue and very good speaker, super explanations thank you again! We also enjoyed cheese with a glass of wine. Don't hesitate to go there if you're in the area, it's worth it!
the person who showed us the production of the munster is simply exceptional, she knows how to captivate her audience and involve children. the tasting at the end of the visit is a very appreciable attention, if you resume the road after, the glass of wine and the kirch on the fresh cheese make the head turn a little! This address deserves a detour.
