While we were on the slopes for a paragliding flight of several members of the family who unfortunately could not take place because of the wind, we discovered this friendly table at the foot of Mt. Mézenc.The 14 guests we were unanimous: everything was good among the different dishes tasted. the menu at 22€ offers a flat cheese or dessert entrance.In the plate a multicolor explosion with variations of any kind where everything is good. from the flower to the slices of radish, cheese crispy to the puree of cepes, raspberry pie and pistachio in the black place, nothing to say. the proof, at each dish the whole plates were left empty and clean in the kitchen. a big thank you to the French chef (also the owner of the place): you have enchanted us all, small and large! we are delected from your inventive, tasteful cuisine! everything is made home with ingenuity and finesse: bravo! the finely erect plates invite you to taste and pleasure of taste buds! young and dynamic service team, with a smile, to make you the most enjoyable moment. Menu of the guard at 22 euros : entry (choice between 2 entries) - dish (choice among 3 courses) - cheese or dessert. We will come back with great pleasure!
my visit was in February but she left me with a good memory; Choice of choice but quality cuisine with assortment of local products; as for example use of the garlic to the bear in the kitchen or a cream dessert scented to a mountain flower (no verveine but another plant whose name I forgot); purée to the ceps etc. all this served heartily and this dish-dessert menu for 18€ if I remember correctly.
After each of our walks, we stop for a drink, enjoy the house ice creams (myrtilles, vanilla or brown) and a blueberry pie. the reception is particularly pleasant, the ice creams accompanied by a home compote, whipped fruit and fresh fruit for a fare challenging any competition. We hope we can have lunch soon.
It is best to book for this good table at the foot of the amber. highest point of high loire. The kitchen is also high-level. the reception is warm even if the outside temperature is less. Good quality/quantity/price ratio.

a surprising welcome or we almost laughed at each other when we said we didn't book. Yet only 6 people with a lot of tables available. So we went elsewhere without regret.
