La Meissounière n’a pas pris une ride depuis toutes ses années que je m’y attable. Eté comme hiver, Claire et son équipe, n’a de cesse de nous régaler de tous ses plats du jour à tendance méridionale, une cuisine du terroir. Le tartare de saumon aux légumes croquants est craquant, la tomate du pays mozzarella Bufala ; puis le foie de veau grillé au beurre persillé, le wok de poulet, nouilles chinoises, légumes ; puis l’Assiette de fromages un choix subtil ; enfin, une mousse au chocolat à tomber à terre, inoubliable pour les addicts ! , des eaux pétillantes, et des vins provençaux au top. Nous avons été dans cet établissement avec des amis et ce n'était pas la première fois. L'accueil a été au delà de nos espoirs et nos demandes complètement acceptées malgré le monde du au Festival et à la qualité des mets. Le déjeuner a été magnifique avec des rognons parfaits. Mais l'essentiel a été l'accueil, le sourire, la disponibilité, l'amitié que nous avons apprécié. Nous y reviendrons évidemment.
I only had a starter and wine here but I still got a really good impression based on what I had (marinated salmon and a house rosé) and on the friendly, prompt service. It felt like a family business with welcoming, unpretentious staff; informal yet polite. The menu offered very good value, especially by Cannes standards. I would go back to eat well at a reasonable price.
Nice terrasse in the heart of Cannes with family friendly service. We skipped the starters so we could have desert and we're justifiaient given the generous portions of à our main dish. The prime rib for 2 was perfect as well as all the other dishes, from the duck to the salmon pasta.Will come back the next time we're in Cannes!

Had a lovey dinner with my father. The bone marrow starter and duck main were delicious. He enjoyed them highly. Their service was impressive and very accommodating for my eating arrangements (health reasons), would highly recommend and return when in the area!
Every year we are in Cannes, my husband and I always come here for lunch or dinner. Everything is very good and fresh from the fish to the duck and steak. The service is friendly and efficient. The prices are very fair. Highly recommend it.
Stopped by this small charming restaurant today, and so far our most favorite French restaurant in Cannes. I had the best duck ever, and the sauce is simply amazing. The profiterole au chocolat desert is to die for. Highly recommend.

A must go to restaurant for a taste of classic french cuisine (not a nouvelle cuisine dish in sight), superb menu choices, quality ingredients, excellent service, great wine and perfect ambience.
We booked a table by phone in advance but as it turned out there were very few customers. The food was delicious and staff most helpful.
