I placed an online order for an iced coffee at 10:51 AM to save time, and the website informed me that it would be ready by 11:25 AM. I arrived at 11:20 AM and went straight to the area designated for online orders, where I waited for my drink. It was quite busy, so I held off until 11:35 AM to ask someone about my order. The staff member informed me that she would start making my drink, but she ended up making it hot instead of iced. I pointed out the mistake, and she corrected it. I finally left the store with my drink at 11:45 AM—nearly an hour after I had placed my order for just one iced coffee. Please improve your service.
Warning: Fraud and false advertising! Every time I ordered a horchata latte, they just served me plain milk with cinnamon sprinkles on top. Although the menu states that all their horchata drinks are made with horchata, you can't taste it at all—it's just milk. Each time, it's obvious that all they add is milk and, if you're lucky, a shot of espresso, along with some cinnamon sprinkles. It's a lazy trick to fool customers into thinking they're getting a legitimate horchata latte. They really need to hire more skilled staff who know how to make real drinks.
This place is fantastic! The coffee and pastries are always spot on. I really appreciate that I can order online and pick up my items before heading to work. The only downside is that I find the pan dulce to be a bit pricey compared to other spots, but that's a minor issue. The Cafe de Olla is delicious, and I enjoy purchasing the coffee grounds so I can brew a pot at work. While the grounds are also somewhat expensive, I only buy a bag when I have a little extra money. Despite that, the flavor is so amazing that I can't really complain.
Love this place! Friendly and fast service along with tasty treats and coffee. The pan dulce was fresh and soft. They have a self serve area where you grab a tray and pick what you want or some prepackaged goods. They sell some hot food along with coffee and have a bakery with full size cakes. I found two foreign objects in a small slice of cake I bought. First, there was a piece of string, similar to the kind used in party bag packaging. Then, just two bites in, I encountered a strand of hair. Unbelievable! I won't be returning. The cake was also very dry and quite overpriced. I'll be sticking to Porto's from now on.
They sold our school Champurrado yeah that was NOT champurrado. They gave us milk with what looked like like crumbs of chocolate. The audacity to call that champurrado is a sacrilege!
The cake contained fungus, which is very concerning. Please exercise caution when visiting this establishment. The health department should conduct an inspection.
