I’m really frustrated with every course of our “Dine Out Boston” meal. Both of our salad courses, the celery and the kumquat salads had so much vinegar that the salads were bitingly acidic and uncomfortable to eat. Next, our pasta courses, the carbonara and the ragu were so shockingly salty that we did not finish them. My hangar steak dish of the the course was smoked and had not been described that way on the menu. If it has I would’ve opted for another main. The beef was so smoked that it tasted like an andouille sausage and nothing like steak. Even the broccoli rabe underneath was smoked. Overall a great experience, delicious food and good staff as usual i have a few small criticisms but would be happy to dine here again. The salads were good the pea caesar was better than a regular caesar in my opinion, though the arugula salad was my favorite for its freshness. The tagliatelle bolognese was delicious, with tender meat, though was a little bit too salty for my taste. Cornish hen and Halibut were both great. Plating was simple and appropriate for the dishes. For desert, the apple crisp was decent but not my favorite, maybe I prefer it to be more spiced and served with a bit more ice cream. The sorbet trio was nice, the passionfruit was delicious. Stopped for an after-workday dinner with colleagues. Wonderful atmosphere. Has the feel of a small European restaurant, the sort of thing you might find several blocks away from an old city center. Food was outstanding. I had the mushroom risotto, which was perfectly prepared. A few traditional Italian dishes and a unique entree or two. Very small menu (as true of all the best small kitchens). Would definitely go here again if life takes me back to Boston.
We heard this was a place Tom Brady liked and decided to check it out. However, like some of Tom Brady's choices, this was regrettable.Everything was either hyper-salted or had no salt at all. Great chose of proseco and nice flavored fish. Service was missing with no check in on our meal. Sour and over salted flavors which ruined the pasta. Check had a duplicate charge. I was hoping for better but very little attention was given to our group of 4 celebrating a bday.
The bolognese is the best I've ever had in my life! The 3 course menu is very affordable for the amount of options, quantity, and quality of food that come along. I highly recommend the bombolini for dessert. The service is always amazing! Fried olives are a must!
The place is amazing. We were celebrating my sons grad. Since the preparation of the event till the end, everything was so smooth, the food was excellent, but honestly Jen and her crew are amazing. Definitely its the place to ho in boston!
Love the bread and house made ricotta appetizer, tagliatelle bolognese and grilled asparagus contorni. La Morra has an intimate vibe and you can see the kitchen service from the bar. Service was pleasant and attentive. Will be back. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
The food was all quite good to excellent. The wait staff was attentive and knowledgeable about the menu and the atmosphere was lovely. I will happily return soon.
