My wife and I found this place - five minutes' walk from the main shopping street - via Trip Advisor and we're glad we did so before we left Nice. The young woman who served us was lovely and very helpful, and told us that practically all the wine LPdA stocks is made naturally, without all the additives commonplace in wine production. The wine itself - we ordered one shiraz and one sauv blanc - tasted very pure and made a fine accompaniment to a small cheeseboard and selection of meats, of which there were three of each. This is a great place to visit pre-dinner, and, if the fare we sampled can act as an example, I'm sure the meals there are as satisfying on the tastebuds and light on the wa...
As you often do, you find the best places by accident & off the beaten track. It's a specialist wine shop in the forward area, but has a seating area in the rear of the shop where you can have a glass of decent wine at considerably less than you'd pay in most bars or in the tourist areas. On both occasions we went, we were the only non-locals. The manager was very friendly and welcoming, and his good nature was infectuous among the rest of the imbibers. The place closes at 9pm, so if you want to sample the foods, make sure to get there early enough. It's definitely worth a visit for an authentic local wine bar vibe.
We had a good time here. They have only organic wines here. The staff where very friendly and had good knowledge about the wine and came up with good recomodations. If you ask they have cheese or meat to follow the wine. They also tell you about where the cheece and meat are from, combined with their knowledge about wine made this a great place to be for a couple of hours. The wine isnt cheap, but its very good and with the service we experienced this is a great place with good value for the money.
Small wine shop with several small tables. Very local feel, when we were there it was the ?owner and a group of his friends who were all very chatty and friendly. We tried 3 different kinds of wine by the glass and it only cost around 30 euros (there were 4 of us)- very good value. They explained where each wine was from and what to expect taste wise. We didn't eat anything but it looked like he did nibbly things- cheese boards and charcuterie etc.

If you want great, biodynamic wines this is the place to visit.We have a new found love of biodynamic wine and so my husband hunted this place out... And what a find! The owner happily offers advice on what wines to try, the platters perfectly compliment the wine and the atmosphere is informal and relaxed. An absolute gem! Great wine, great service, lovely place. We'll definitely be back.
We really enjoyed visiting yesterday. We found the place from the guide book and was not disappointed. The place is really back to basis but service is friendly and knowledge is high. At the same time the meat & cheese platter taste amazing. Great place
Such an unassuming place. Just a shop filled with wine and a few tables. But Oh the wine!!! The guy running the place was so helpful and chose an amazing wine for us. I would recommend this place anytime!!
I found this place waking by, I absolutely love places like this... Little 'cave a vin' to buy a bottle, to have drinks and to eat charcuterie. They usually play good music too!!
