My wife and I visited La Petite Auberge for the first time having driven through the village on more than one occasion previously, and having been informed by friends that it was well worth a visit. Car parking very accessible opposite the church and only a short stroll to the restaurant. Friendly staff at reception. This visit was a business lunch and the food was arranged by the organiser of the event. The first course was a tasty terrine, the main was a lamb chop with a potato/veg galette; There was a choice of fromage blanc or assiette du fromage, before a fondant au chocolate avec crème anglais. Lunch on the terrace was quite lovely. Owners out to greet us, talk with us and welcome us inside to their restaurant. We had the chefs menu. A pumpkin coconut soup to start, was quite interesting. The. The scampi risotto which was nice. I had the veal stew which was done not to heavy which was good because it was a hot summer day and my partner had the pork cheeks which were just delicious! Wine was good. Local cheese were good.berry and pistachio desert was perfect Highly recommend
good certe cuisine but boss who screams on his staff in full service not very commercial never forget that without your staff your restaurant does not turn a little respect for your staff and your customers who do not want to hear this meal time is a moment of pleasure !!!!
