On a beautiful sunny day, we had the pleasure of finding La Piazza during our first visit to Bedford. We were able to enjoy our morning coffee outdoors in the sun. The food looked fresh and inviting, so we decided to return for a snack after a stroll along the riverside. We both ordered the panini BLT and were delighted with our choice. The panini was very fresh, filled with all three ingredients and mayo. It was one of the best and freshest BLT sandwiches we have had in a long time. The service was quick and friendly.
An open air cafe situated in central Bedford by St Pauls church, on the corner of St Paul’s Square where it meets the High Street. There are excellent markets held on either side of the cafe , on wednesdays and saturdays. There are plenty of tables and chairs to sit at as well as room too to stand by the counter and have a chat. There’s a great atmosphere, and Libby and Joe, make everyone feel welcome. The coffee is outstanding just as coffee should be.
The Piazza is reminiscent of an outdoor club located in the heart of Bedford. The coffee is excellent and the food is freshly made to order. The staff is friendly and cheerful, and the customers are familiar faces or ones you'd like to get to know. The restaurant recently celebrated its 25th anniversary in business, indicating they are clearly doing something right.
Excellent coffee and snacks and the guy running the cafe couldn't be more helpful. Great example of a local business doing well. Visited twice and it's clear he's got good return customers. An outdoor cafe in Bedford that offers delicious food and drink. The owner and his son working are very hospitable and always make you feel welcome. A regular go too and that will not be stopping.
I've visited this place through the years, the food is always fantastic and even though I don't drink the coffee always looks and smells so good, it's a real credit with great family of staff.
The food at this restaurant is excellent and the staff are lovely. It has a warm, family-friendly atmosphere and the food is delicious. I will definitely be returning soon. Thank you.
