On our way from Switzerland to The Netherlands we did no want to have lunch 'at the highway '. We just took the 'sortie ' Brumath and went on to Centre Ville. My eye caught this Restaurant La Place where we have a very nice lunch. A very tastefull menu card from salads to desserts. Somewhat difficult to choose what to eat ;

We have arrived on a late Sunday evening to find a place as local as can be (which is excellent if you are a tourist). Wonderful food, great service and although there wasn't a menu in English, I'm glad we didn't give up and stayed for a really good meal. Highly recommended for meat lovers
