Okay so hubby took me out to dinner and said that this place looked good lets give it a try....wish we hadn't. I'm not one to brag on about food but this one is a must at least to warn others.we ordered our food being lamb cutlets and a beetroot salad and hubby ordered full rack ribs now as far as we know from other restaurants their small ribs with like a tangy BBQ sauce the first thing that turned me off was the table water sever in these medicine like glass bottles and as i poured some water in their not glass cups I took a sip and got the worst smell from cup I don't even want to decribe it. Then finally our food came out and wowwwww our so called full rack ribs was more like 2 big roast...

Brought a number of friends here in the past and service is usually on and off. This one night, ordering hot water with lemon and honey took 10-12mins (we timed it for fun to realise it was actually this long) every time as if they're farming the lemons out the back or something.
Staff were decent when you chat with them but bit of a wait. Will visit again in the hope it doesn't take this long as it's a nice eatery. Their foods are tops and tasty, also a section available specifically for shisha.
We went to here for Shisha with three people and we were forced to order two shishas. Shisha here is not good and strong. We didn't feel anything when we finished. But the chocolate sweet restaurant next to it provides good quality Shisha which is better and cheaper than La Plaka and it allows three people only order one Shisha.

Came here with 2 of my friends first place i tried in Sydney and I can say that the service and food have satisfied me way more than I expected. I had La plaka Chicken and tropical thunder and smoked grape mint hookah. I will definitely come back to this place during my holiday in Sydney.
We ordered the deluxe breakfast. The guy told us it was $30. After we finished the meal he told us it was actually $30/head. How misleading!!! Furthermore, the sourdough toast was burnt fully black on the crusts and the bread was super stale anyway. Also, the waffles were sticky and chewy.
I had such a delicious Grilled Chicken Salad that it was like no ordinary salad. I absolutely loved the flavours used and the presentation was superb. Such a healthy choice to have on the menu.

Customer service is amazing, and management has improved heaps. Great food and argilahs. I will come back to this place for sure with my family and my mates
