My wife and I visited La Poissonnerie on our first night in Cassis. We both ordered moules with their “house” sauce. When they arrived it was evident that the moules had not been properly cleaned and that a lot of them had been re-heated, which...was ironic as half of them were cold. Frankly, it’s our bad for not sending them back, but after a day travelling from Paris we just couldn’t be bothered. Needless to say, we never went back and would suggest that anyone in search of good food avoid as well.
Whenever we are in Cassis we eat at La Poissonnerie and have never been disappointed. Yesterday the grilled dorade was too blackened for our taste. The proprietor saw this without us mentioning anything, had it removed and replaced. The salmon tartare was wonderful perfectly...seasoned and cut just the way we like it, not chopped up into some terrible mash! And we are still dreaming of the vegetable side dish that had been slowly braised in olive oil. Divine! Can't wait to be back!
the salmon stare was so delicious that we returned to the next night to enjoy it again! the service was warm, attentive and the ability to order and converse in English was very helpful. the alone and soulbream were delicious. the sole was fresh...and sweet (2 sizes to choose) and the beside dishes of kartoffels, carrots and zucchini was very tasteful. tables filled quickly so that reservations appear helpful. we recommend this restaurant warm and look back again.
I had a really nice meal here. The service was excellent and attentive in spite of how busy it was. The setting kept you in the energetic ambiance of the port of Cassis. The grilled daurade was fresh and whole meal enjoyable.

we came with our family and eating was really authentic and the service was super friendly; the terrace is beautiful. I would really cook it for real fresh fish very professionally and served with a smile! merci et à bientôt
recommended by our hotel, it is well located at the harbour riverfront. eating is however average, although the service and the reception were warm and prompt.
Definitely a must when visiting MauiI ordered 3 dozen boxes and 3 boxes of 15 of their manju (lima) the day before for pick up at 1 pm.
Very nice fresh seafood and the people were really friendly. They offered us nice advice as what was the nicest meal of the day.

Moules frites here were OK, but nothing special. Dorade Royal was also fine. Nice setting in the Port. Service not great.
