Quand on va sur le site internet de la poterne cela semble très bien...La réalité est toute autre.Ce midi nous (mon épouse et moi) avons eu le choix entre un saucisson aux cèpes sans cèpe, une assiette de crudités tout à fait banale avec 1 cm3 de tapenade et 3 cm3 de gâteau de courgette, une salade avec un chèvre frais. Nous n'avons pas pris le 4ème choix, l'omelette. Avec une bière, un jus d'abricots, 2 verres de rosé et 2 cafés : 51 Euros sans facture.Heureusement la terrasse ombragée offre une très belle vue sur le versant nord du Luberon.Nous avons rencontré 2 autres couples qui comme nous étaient fort mécontents.
We went to La Poterne at the end of August, around 13:00. Only 3 tables were occupied and at least 5 tables were free, no reserved signs to be seen . They asked if we reserved. We said no and then they said they couldn’t serve us lunch anymore. Very disappointing. Opening hours from 11:00 until 19:00, empty terrace and not willing to serve 4 people for lunch. We will never go back! They should be ashamed! We had lunch at the Auberge and saw no extra clients at La Poterne. 0 points given for hospitality.
This almost open air restaurant offers a gorgeous view. The menu is rather limited but it is for the benefit of the quality and freshness of the ingredients. Nice to see the cook/waiter cutting some herbs for your omelet in the garden next to the kitchen. The suppliers of all the ingredients are listed on the menu. Finally, the home brewed beer is delicious despite its very low level of alcohol.
nous sommes arrivés a vélo un peu tard. repas simple , omelette et salade. rien de gastronomique mais la vue sur le ventoux depuis la terrasse est superbe. nous aimons aussi la décoration . on peut acheter des textes qu'ils éditent durant l'hiver

This is a very simple vegetarian restaurant hidden away in Brantes, not easy to find. It is worth stopping at, if you are cycling through, as the food is simple and good, and the view over to Mt Ventoux is fantastic.
Disappointed that it was closed today when we visited as I went last year. Stunning views. Found the pottery shop and cafe above though. Atelier de Faiencerie. Very sweet couple who were more than welcoming.

Un très joli cadre pour un déjeuner en terrasse. Des produits locaux et ultra frais. Simplicité et authenticité. Une halte bien sympathique que nous recommandons.
