My wife and I, went to the campanile hotel where they have a restaurant that we go often to. But this time it was packed people were lining up outside, so we went back out and looked for some other restaurant. We came across the Golden Tulip hotel's restaurant, decided to give it a try. Well how can we say, the entrance dishes are nicely presented and there is a fair number of choices.As for the main dish hot meal there were only three choices, the rice was dry, the long green beans were like uncooked and cold, the chicken was so so and the boeuf bourguignon sauce was really too strong and sugary.The desserts is not available directly, you have to tell what you want among few choices and the...

My dinner was a hot/cold buffet with desert. The selection of cold food is good with a little of everything available. The taste was great and thoroughly enjoyable. Unfortunately, the hot food was not much warmer than the cold. I was warmly greeted upon arrival and had frequent visits from the wait staff until my hot course was finished. I waited for an hour to get my bill - certain waiters seemed to go out of their way to avoid responding to my guestures. The manager was very apologetic and prompt in follow up once I spoke with him.Overall, the positive aspects of the reviews that led me to the restaurant failed to materialize during my meal. Not sure if there were something wrong with the heathers this particulary evening, but it was freezing cold in the restaurant... Most visitors choosed buffet. You can choose either the cold or hot buffet, a mix, and with or without dessert. My choise were the cold, in my eyes that was the best assorted one. Many different seafood to choose between. But I was a little dissapointed , it looked better than it tasted. The different types of mussels had almost same taste. Crab had no taste at all, and the shell of it was almost empty. Between flights, CDG, our airport hotel did not have a restaurant so we walked up to Golden Tulip for dinner.The buffet choices were "hot" or "cold", we had to choose one or the other. The hot was not hot, it was barely warm, not a large selection, but acceptable. The staff was nice, but did not seem to go out of their way.

We used the hotel as a stopover between flights and dined in the restaurant one evening and breakfast one morning. Both the hot and cold buffets gave an excellent choice. The steak and chips was delicious. Service was welcoming and attentive.We would definitely use this hotel and restaurant again.

Our meals here were courtesy of Air France thanks to unexpected stopover at CDG so we didn't expect the very best. We were given a choice of hot or cold buffet, no mixing allowed. There was a good selection at both but nobody in our party was overly impressed with the food. Service was so-so.

We stayed over courtesy of Air France as we missed our connection and we're given a voucher for this buffet. We were a bit trepidatious but the food was lovely.
