This evening we were a table of 8; almost all ordered the branzino (special there was not a drop of anything left on those plates. The fish was exceptionally good. My husband ordered a pasta dish which he said was very good. The service was just right; no unnecessary hovering or disappearing, just appropriately attentive. The restaurant is relatively small and the only flaw is that there is no sound dampening to offset the noise level (tolerable that occurs when it's a full house (which it was during most of the time we were there. eating is very old school Italian, that is exactly what we wanted on a cool Friday night. the aubergine and chicken parmesan were both good. we had a 2 year old with us and the waiter was great to get us his food early. Thank you! we visited from the city and found it in a good, walkable location. we would definitely return. in the did, in the next night some other people suggested that we eat here and we would like to tell them that we found them ourselves.
My opinion is 6/10.$14 for a classic pie.Best thing going on is the bread, since it use stone it imparts a nice crust.Sauce is good and balanced well.Cheese is where you lost unfortunately. if they are looking for a beautiful Italian restaurant in family style in large neck, this is the place for them. the service was something on the slow side, but eating more than made for it. this party of 4 ordered appetizers and main courses (all different) and all over eating. everything in a very pleasant evening. I deposited the lasagna I ordered directly into the trash. It was spoiled and I’m surprised that my desert wasn’t being served in North Shore Hospital. I hope for the restaurant’s sake that my experience was just an anomaly. However, there will be no second chance.
that is an Italian restaurant in the neighbourhood. good quality eating, interesting specialties, beautiful wine selection, and very steady . friendly staff and owners are present in the rule. our regular open day evening. All right!
