I would love to give this restaurant five stars because the food was absolutely fantastic. However, I did experience some issues with the waiting times, which were longer than we were initially told. That being said, I had a craving for a mocajete—a traditional Mexican stone mortar filled with three types of meat: steak, chicken, and shrimp, accompanied by cheese, cactus, grilled onions, and salsa. OMG!!! It was simply spectacular. The portions of beans and rice were generous, and there was so much food that we ended up taking home more than half of it. Loud Mexican music, loud happy people made the atmosphere fun and upbeat. Food presentation was beautiful and attractive and portion sizes were large. Michelada was really satisfying and my pulpo tacos were absolutely delicious. My husband ordered shrimp enchiladas and my daughter the chicken quesadillas very delicious and big. The crevice tower was ok in my opinion needed more salt and flavor but very fresh. Will be back again.
I ordered takeout, and my food was ready right on time. I had a carne asada burrito, which was delicious, along with ceviche made with octopus and shrimp that was fantastic. I also tried the green ceviche, which was tasty but a bit too spicy for my liking. Additionally, I enjoyed a massive quesadilla filled with steak and shrimp, and it was definitely worth it. I will definitely be coming back!
This is a truly authentic Mexican restaurant! The menu is even in Spanish, but luckily for those of us who might need a refresher, they also include pictures. Great tasting seafood, there shrimp cocktail is amazing, and there atmosphere is always upbeat.
Food was ok..disappointed with their Steak fajita. Didn't like the taste and steak was tough.
