everything was wrong with this place. starting from the painful booking experience, it was really hard to keep them even by email. I got two different answers by e-mail: the first confirmed my booking, the second asked me to call them...directly, as they only take phone bookings. So two weeks after we managed to book a table over the phone and when we arrived, they had just given away our table. After watching the workers who had to fight over the debt, they finally fixed us a table next to the emergency trip. the menu was not great either. if they don't eat meat, they'd rather enjoy ruder fish. the service lasted super long, 30 min between the feed, also for the cheese plate that has no pre...
last night we had an excellent meal with a view of the allier river. every cure was well presented and delicious. we were pleased to find the portions of a reasonable size, as so often restaurants in this category let them hunt on the teller after eating. the desserts (we tried 3) were all excellent and beautifully done. during the learning we had a birthday to celebrate the cook quickly, a teller with a candle. the service was also perfect without waiting too much between the curses. a beautiful tasty is the small cart of cookies and chocolates that accompany their cup coffee or tee. together we had a 5 star evening and will come back soon.
a wonderful dinner with friends. we all had the inspiration menu at 38€. there were 3 courses with 2 choices on each cursor. presentation was artistic and each mouthful was delicious. the finishing touch is the petit four of an enormous selection on a huge trolley. we don't have the cheese course, but the cheese car selection was incredible. I can recommend 100% this restaurant and would return definitiw if I was back in vichy.
Quite disappointing for a gourmet restaurant. The food was well-cooked with quality products but lacked a bit of bland. The white wine was excellent as well as their customized strawberry dessert. The service was excellent and worthy of the reputation of fine dining.
Read about it on TripAdvisor and had expected more based on reviews . My meal was very basic average. Location is nice but there are other riverfront restaurants in the area that also have similar views . A bit over rated based on my...experience
very nice surprise for this restaurant with a very good quality price. sublime setting with view of the lake of the aalron. We were in the upper room for dinner and it was very good for us to be silent. very friendly service.
amazing gastronomic experience from amuse bouche to the coffee. we had the inspiration menu and all teller were delicious and beautifully presented. the service was great and the location is pretty. highly recommended!
It's a delightful place to have a meal at, with beautiful views on the lake, no matter what table you sit at, due to the circular shape of the restaurant. Fine dining at a reasonable price.
