Very little copier plates, so the dishes not suitable (where was the foie gras)?!. the pancakes are just not good, elastic, fades and very thick, they are industrial and make 15cm in diameter, the industrial chocolate had a taste more than doubtful: it spoils the nuts and it makes very expensive for a poor pancake that looks like a missed pancake! The worst is the reaction of the waitress, who finds us too demanding. Not a merchant, respectful limit. Don't move. pass your way, it's cheap and cheap for zero quality.
After the chateau visit, we pass through the tavern. the reception is fast and effective. The view from the terrace overlooks the valleys ... finally after the visit of the castle, it is no longer a surprise. The tested dish is called hallebarde. And it's really hearty! a very nice slice of foie gras, a duck confide and a cabecou with sarladas potatoes with green salads and nut oil...Very in the tone of the place and the region .a report quality price very correct
a typical kitchen with local products. the foie gras from the lembert cannery is a slaughter....The jam, duck needles are excellent as well. .the little beef was cooked to perfection, it was butter. the view of the valley at the foot of the castle deserves a detour. a big thank you to the waiter for his kindness and professionalism!

Small restaurant perched at the foot of Castelnaud Castle. Very pleasant view of the fortress and the Dordogne valley.Very content (course flat dessert at 15.5€) and menu made of fresh and local products. Very correct portions. the must: famed ice, even bocuze said good!

Apart from other restaurants, a real discovery with a good value for money. Effective and fast service. The chief goes to the tables to ask if everything's okay. The detail that does everything! Recommended Castelnaud salad (good served).
