This restaurant offers you several choices of menu, depending on how many courses you would like.The 5 course menu we chose had two starters, two mains and a dessert.The interesting thing is that every course is a surprise.Before you start the really friendly and helpful staff ask if there are any particular foods you don't like or can't eat.The chef then prepares each course and it is served without telling you what it is, unless you ask. I visited this restaurant with my husband, two children and French in-laws and everyone left more than happy. The décor and appearance of the restaurant may make it easy to walk past but the service (I think that there are only about 30 covers) and most the food will make you want to go back as the quality was top notch, the taste amazing (the best pork I have ever tasted), and the surprise menu well worth trying (they check what you don't like first so no nasty surprises). You get the sense that this young team are destined for great things and they would deserve it for their flair, creativity and care they put into their dishes.
Happened on this restaurant through Trip Advisor and the reviews were so good we just had to give it a try. It was a lovely evening with superb food - the surprise menu is a great idea - subtle flavours which you are asked to guess if you wish. It's a nice way of engaging with the chef who did some of the serving! We chose the 5 course menu for €45 which we felt was a fair price for the standard. The chef is very sure with his cooking and the front of house girl was very friendly and interested in our thoughts. As we are not dessert lovers, we were offered a cheese plate instead. Highly recommended.
This is a wonderful food discovery trail. Of course it costs but the €45 we spent for a 5 course meal was well worth it. Add a complimentary starter to that also. Each meal came looking superb, with flavour combinations that complemented the dish. You are asked for anything you don't like and then the meal is composed in the kitchen and you are given a run down after you have finished each course. No single course stood out; they were all first rate. This place must be close to formal recognition by Michelin.

Booked on spec on late Monday bank holiday on way to hotel with many restaurants closed. When we returned they were turning people away. The blind menu ie you tell them your cant eats and they do three or five dishes to suit was brilliant. Lots of delightful balanced flavours to please the taste buds. Not cheap but to give an idea they make food like the finalists of master chef. Delicious. We will come again when vannes rugby is at home next season!
We ate here on a wet miserable evening in Vannes but the food and service made us feel more than comfortable! It was fun trying to figure out what the different foods were in each course but they will tell you before you eat if you prefer. The staff were very pleasant and service was prompt without feeling rushed. We thoroughly enjoyed our evening here and would definitely recommend.
The location is low end but the interior is calm and attractive. We had the 5 course surprise menu, which was excellent. Before we started, we were asked about any allergies or dislikes, which was considerate. The meal was great and we would certainly...go again. (Can 't say too much, as it is a surprise! Note that the restaurant is closed on Tuesday and Wednesday.
My wife's birthday treat, 7 course taster menu with superior wines. Outstanding food and impeccable matching of really good wines with really good food. Magical sorcery... a dry Semillon, an excellent Marsannay, terrific Pinot Noir, a Premier Cru Givry, a surprising and delightful Naury from...Roussillon and a Ste Foy de Bordeaux. Classy.

One of a kind experience! Chef will match the food to your likes and will ask if anything is to be avoided. you just wait and the magic begins. A fabulous culinary experience. I greatly appreciated the quiet atmosphere as there are different rooms.
We ate there yesterday evening. Very nice and knowledgeable staff. Food was excellent and a great place to taste a delicious selection of wines. Best food during our trip. We highly recommend it!!
