We decided to enter this restaurant for the interesting menu we saw at the entrance. we ordered a marinara mussel bowl and a fritto misto.After waiting about 20 minutes for our plates they finally arrived.The fritto misto arrived as pictured below or should I say salad mista.We asked the waiter if there was an error and she said that's how it's served in Italy and to shut up and eat.Well as bad as it looks in the picture that's how it tasted. Oily and soggy. The mussels no taste also.We left everything paid and went to another restaurant.Bad service, bad food. Trouville is a lovely town, full of fun and activity, and a working fishing port. The Quai alone has many restaurants, and most are as you would expect - a range of bars and restaurants to suit all tastes, all of them getting quite a bit more expensive than they used to be. We visit quite often, and have been to most of the restaurants. This one is ok, but nothing special, with reasonably pleasant service, but just no charm and no joy. Intrusive pop music on a screen which some customers find distracting, ok food but not cheap, and a general feeling that everywhere needs cleaning and polishing, if not redecorating. Nothing really wrong, but why would you choose it?
