La Vieille Auberge

Can't imagine how anyone could give this restaurant a bad review. It was one of the top meals we had in our two week trip to France with the best view! We ordered the special of the day with a large and fantastic octopus salad, fish and mashed potatoes with a great sauce, and unbelievable trio of homemade berry sorbets. It was not inexpensive at about 32 Euros, but it was absolutely worth it. It was perfection!

6 of us had a lovely meal here. One of the few places we could book last minute on a Friday night and we were pleasantly surprised. Relaxed and lovely staff, delicious food. The set menus were good portions and great value! We hope to return in the future…

Our dinner at this restaurant were all in all not a good experience. We felt overlooked throughout the three course dinner, two of the starters were not was what ordered, and everything took way too much time. The food was ok, but not special.

Busy and hot July day, did not seem to bother the staff here, very attentive and patient with our small group, the food was great and the kitchen managed all our little adjustments. Really enjoyed our lunch.

Excellent service and lovely food. We’ve eaten here before and never been disappointed. It’s a lovely place to spend an evening.
