What a wonderful experience. We were staying in San Rafael to visit local attractions and picked La Serrata at random from the few open on Monday evening. From the first minute, the owner/waiter was superb, enthusiastically recommending items from the menu, with helpful suggestions. We finished up with exquisite 'judiones ' beans in stew, white asparagus and generous salad, followed by 'chuletillas ', extremely tasty Spanish lamb chops. Although they were items from the 'Menú del Dia ', usually only available lunchtimes, he made all food available in the evening at the same price. Owner very helpful and attentive. We ordered tapas and main courses. The patatas bravas and orejas were really nice. Place is small when busy and we were a big group but we were well take care by.
Fui ayer por la noche a cenar con parte de mi familia. Me sorprendió gratamente el lugar. Grandes raciones a precios muy atractivos. Lugar muy luminoso y grandes espacios. Muy bonito lugar
They kindly found room for us on a day they were fully booked and we couldn’t confirm time of arrival as we were travelling from Valencia. Really great food and very nice atmosphere
