When we arrived, there were no guests in the restaurant at 6:30pm. This did not bode well. However, when we left, the place was hopping, which reinforced the server's statement that business was doing so well, they were hoping to open a 2nd restaurant in downtown Montreal.The food was spiced the way I remember Caribbean food tasting in our travels. It was home-cooking and plentiful. The atmosphere was comfortable and a notch on the chic side. Our server was perfectly bilingual, seemed to know the dishes well and gave great service. Would certainly recommend this place!
This was our second visit and both times food was very good and good service.On both visits owner came around to make sure that everything was good and that we were enjoying our meal. There was a slight mixup with our order and we had to wait a few minutes more for it but owner came over to apologize for delay and offered to comp us a drink for the delay,classy move.Nice atmosphere. Good to see a different kind of restaurant in the area, much better than all the chain restaurants around.
OK food, RIDICULOUSLY slow and amateur service. 45 minutes from the time we ordered to the time the food was brought out...at lunch time, with a total of five (5) people, including us, in the restaurant. Both appetizers and main course brought out at the same time. One of us, out of 3, had to wait an additional 5 minutes for the dish. And when it did come out it was short 2 chicken wings - because they were placed on another of our party's plate. Not very impressive at all.
I absolutely love oxtail and was happy to know that there is a place in Vaudreuil offering it. The flavor was mouthwatering, and the texture was just perfect - soft and tender. The portions are large enough that I can make 2 meals out of it. The jerk chicken, plantain, and rice, are all also good. The jerk chicken was absolutely perfect. So tasty !! Portion size was really good for the price. Red stripe available ! Also they carry Ting (Jamaican beverage )Only downfall is lack of wine list and the ones they have (3) red , are very expensive Will definitely be back !!
Had a fabulous time at this cozy & friendly resto. They had AMAZING music!! The food was very tasty and our group of 6 had a wonderful time. The Chef came out to chat with us and was simply charming. A great place!
It was out first visit to Lady Kiki ad it was amazing! The service was top notch and the food was even better! The servings are relatively large with an affordable price tag. I highly recommend this place!
