I recently visited a new restaurant, Lady's Slipper Cafe, for breakfast. My friend Shawn and I were discussing our search for a good corned beef breakfast when the waitress arrived. She humorously informed us that the only thing they were out of at the moment was corned beef, which made us laugh. I ordered the eggs benedict, one of my favorites, and it was a delicious traditional version cooked perfectly. The hash browns were crispy with a tasty mix of green peppers and onions. Shawn enjoyed his breakfast bowl with ham, bacon, and baloney. Service was excellent and I will definitely be returning to try more dishes, especially if they have corned beef on the menu. I want to share our experience at this restaurant, but unfortunately, we had to leave after 30 minutes of being completely ignored. Despite the waitress looking at us multiple times, she didn't even greet us, offer water, or provide a menu. The restaurant wasn't busy, so we were confused as to why we weren't being served. Even as we got up to leave, the waitress made no effort to acknowledge us. Based on other reviews, it seemed like we weren't likely to receive good service or food anyway. Despite being hesitant to leave a negative review in a small town, as a reviewer, I believe in being honest and fair. This was our experience, and I am simply sharing it as it happened.
I have never in my life seen food so poorly prepared, being in the restaurant business myself I would have fired the entire kitchen staff. We waited over 40 minutes as did the rest of the customers. Clearly the kitchen staff had no clue on...timing, can not multi task absolutely no business cooking in the first place. Eggs were raw, bacon was dust, sausage was not eatable, pancakes had batter running out. I did however feel sorry for the waitstaff as they seemed embarrassed and strangely used to sloppy mess on the plate. The table of 4 behind us got their food, looked at it, mumbled then got up left. Clearly new management and training are badly needed.

I hired Cesar to cater a private business event at this restaurant. Cesar provided me with a variety of options to choose from and advised that all the food was made from scratch sourced locally as much as possible. When we saw the food, you...could tell it was homemade and it was absolutely delicious. Cesar was fantastic to deal with. I would definitely hire him again.

The small town mall offers great food and friendly service that makes you forget about the time. Take some time to visit after shopping. I recommend trying the PEI breakfast with fishcake and buoy, and don't forget to ask for the "cheek" on the side with a delightful green tomato relish.
This looks like a typical greasy spoon in a strip mall … but it will definitely impress and surprise you. Ingredients are local. Flavourful dishes and (very) relaxed atmosphere. We ate here twice on our holidays. Some dishes are not always available … ie homemade...fish cakes!
this caffe was proposed to us and it was not disappointed. eating was well prepared and exactly what we wanted was a good family meal. the prices were reasonable and the service was fast and efficient.
