great friendly atmosphere and personal, all very polite and well spoken. it's great to see this place busy again and I myself and all my friends will be back regularly, especially when summer works, it's an absolute jewel with an ever-smiling face and great memory of drinks orders!

Real let down. Had breakfast on saturday, we was looking so forward . worse Bacon and egg sandwich ive had in a long time.. Egg was runny and bacon was undercooked and swimming in fat.. sad as i love this place but not for breakfast !!!
simple but decent fare. not a lot of atmosphere to speak of. locals and regulars make up the main crowd here. friendly service though! don't rush to get down here.

The Land of Promise is a dive bar, if ever I've seen one. It takes your eyes several moments to adjust to the dimness of the interior.
