We had noticed Larry's Take Away when we were walking in the main street earlier in the day and decided that would be where we would go to buy some dinner to take back to our hotel. We each ordered the Fish Pack, 2 small pieces of crumbed garfish, chips and garden salad, served with tartare sauce and a lemon wedge. The fish was okay, chips delicious, golden, crispy and hot and the salad was so fresh and very generous in proportion. After going to Mr Micks (on a suggestion) and being turned away due to them being over booked, we ended up at Larrys. I tell you what, Mr Micks did us a huge favour not being able to give us a table because, by far and away, the garfish, chips and full salad meal we had at Larry's was the BEST fish meal I have ever had. Even my husband loved the food. We kept eating until we were stuffed full. They give you a decent serving size! Great value for money too!
Waiting 55 minutes for a pizza is unacceptable, especially when they advised a 30-minute wait. Upon arrival, they informed us it would be an additional 20 minutes. The pizza didn't taste like it was worth the long wait either.
This place was disappointing! Food was poor and service was slow! Some chips were burnt and some were soggy! How do you mess up chips when your a fish and chip shop! Took 40 minutes to get our meal and they weren't even busy!

This friendly restaurant offers a wide variety of food, drinks, and milkshakes. The fish was thinly battered and delicious, and the chips were also very tasty. It's a great spot for a quick sit-down meal or takeout option.
We stopped for a quick meal with the kids during our road trip and were pleasantly surprised. The food was delicious and the service was friendly. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.
