I really like this place—the sandwiches, pastries, and coffee are all excellent! However, the service and cleanliness leave much to be desired. When I walked in to order a coffee and toast, I asked if I could pay with Apple Pay, but the woman at the counter informed me there was a $5 minimum. I then asked if I could use my card instead, and she agreed. After she prepared my order, I handed her my card, only for her to tell me there was also a $5 minimum for card transactions. As I wasn't buying anything else, she quite literally threw away my food and said she had to follow the rules. I was on the verge of tears! She actually chose to waste the food over just accepting my payment of $4.75. I...
This place is still fantastic! I stopped by to grab a quick sandwich and coffee to enjoy with my grandma, and I was impressed by the two clerks at the counter. They were both friendly and efficient, managing to keep the line moving smoothly, even though they were the only ones working at the time. However, I think the weekend morning breakfast rush could be better handled. If the owners can manage the overhead costs, it might be worth considering hiring an additional staff member to speed up service and potentially increase profits. By the way, the addition of vanilla in the coffee was a lovely touch!
Lots of pastries to choose from but since Im from the West coast and I'm not from the area, this was my first time to any bakery in NJ. So I didn't know what I wanted. When I asked what each item was, I felt a little rushed to choose. I did enjoy what I chose in the end. The cafe con leche was perfect.
I was extremely disappointed with the pastries here. The cannolis tasted as if they were made a year ago—hard and stale. The filling had a strange flavor, reminiscent of wood glue mixed with sugar. I definitely wouldn’t recommend this place. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
I ordered a cake from here. For my sons birthday party just recieved. I loved the cake. It was soft and moist. It wasnt as sweet. But it was on point the cake. It was delicious the cake. I highly recommend the place.
Amazing cafe con leche, authentic Cuban sandwiches, very good Cuban food in general,I'm definitely going back. Empanadas were great, pastelitos were excellent.
Excellent customer service and welcoming staff! I highly recommend trying the Tres Leches dessert. I also loved the Cuban-themed decor!
